Note: This is a sequel to the story entitled “When Forever Ends”. You probably should read that first, but it works on it’s own as a standalone thing too.

I sat on the couch, legs tucked up under me as I watched him pace back and forth across the floor, frames sans lenses on, mumbling to himself as he read something off his piece of paper.
It was cute, him looking all flustered. He’s been out of the hospital more than a month, and was finally getting back into the swing of things. I was glad to have JungSu back home. And all to myself now that he’s gone.
I’ll never forget the day when JungSu finally stood up to KangIn and ended the game they had been playing with their emotions. I had been on my way into the living room to grab my book, but stopped short in the doorway when I noticed the two of them on the couch. I don’t think either of them noticed me.
I stayed just outside the room, listening to what transpired. My heart ached for JungSu, but at the same time, I couldn’t help but be happy on some level that I would finally have a chance.
KangIn left the room abruptly. He stopped just outside the doorway and looked at me. I never had a chance to get away. He just stared for a few moments, before jerking his head back to the living room in a “Get in there.” sort of gesture, and stomped away.
I gave JungSu some time to himself before finally bucking up and walking in.
“Hi,” He murmured.
“Hey,” I said, swallowing hard and taking a seat next to him on the couch; the same spot KangIn had occupied moments before. I put an arm around his shoulders, and he curled closer, still crying softly.
I was brought out of my thoughts by JungSu suddenly flinging his paper away and plopping himself down on my lap.
“JongOon~” He purred, throwing his arms around my neck and snuggling close before pressing our lips together in a chaste kiss.
I brought my arms up around his waist to hold him still and smiled softly into the kiss before he pulled away. I leaned up a bit and kissed the tip of his nose. “Hi baby. Are you done obsessing over the schedule?”
“I think so.” JungSu purred again, and pressed our lips together once more.
We have something, the two of us.
I don't know if I should continue this or not. 8D;
